Message from the President
The South Florida Swing Dance Society (SFSDS) has been in existence since 2-24-92, and has had some amazing events. We have been the original and driving force in the South Florida area,
besides Dance Connection.
Swing into Spring was an amazing event for the SFSDS. Having attendance at over 990 per year, was an incredible feat. Since then, we've overcome the passing of our members, hurricanes (forcing our members to move North or completely out of the area), moving our dances from the German-American Club and trying to find a new location for our dances and of course the Pandemic/Covid plague.
We've always worked diligently for our members and our events. Over the last 5 years there have been more and more events being offered in the tri-county area for the dancers to get their boogie on.
With the rising costs to throw a monthly dance evening and the drop of attendance we fear that if our dances do not get positive attendance, the club will be forced to discontinue their dances.
We would be delighted to welcome you to our team.

At SFSDS / NDTA we promote dancing, dance education and fellowship within the South Florida Swing / NDTA dance community. Our goal is to create an exciting and inclusive environment where dancers of all levels and backgrounds can come together to enjoy the art of swing dancing.
