Jonathon Melendrez is a professional dancer and dance professional with a passion for teaching others.
He is the owner of Melendrez Dance Studios serving clients in Broward and Palm Beach Counties, where he offers a variety of dance classes for students of all ages and skill levels.
Jonathon has over 35 years of experience in the dance industry and has trained with some of the top dancers and instructors in the world.
In addition to his achievements as a dance professional, Jonathon Melendrez has been teaching competitive ballroom and Latin dance since high school and has received numerous awards and accolades in the industry.
Jon has also had the honor of performing at multiple Super Bowl halftime shows.

Trish Berlanga fell in love with dance when she walked into the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in her hometown of Flint Michigan. She was quickly recruited by Fred Astaire Studio in Stuart, FL. Her first title was Fred Astaire American Rhythm Rising Star Champion. While at Fred Astaire, Trish earned her teaching certification in American Style Smooth and Rhythm.
In 1997, Trish was bitten by West Coast Swing bug in a Country Night Club in West Palm Beach, FL, where she currently resides. She has been traveling and competing in the Swing Circuit ever since, and recently achieved All-Star status.
She has earned many dance titles throughout her career, but the more important goal has always been to share her knowledge and love of dance to as many people as possible.

Hugo Miguez and Stacy Kay are highly regarded figures in the world of West Coast Swing, renowned for their exceptional precision, diverse repertoire and innovative teaching methodologies. Since 2011, their Classic Routines have taken the dance world by storm, redefining the learning process and inspiring countless dancers worldwide.
Based in Clearwater, Florida, Hugo and Stacy have established themselves as leading competitors, judges, and choreographers for a wide range of events. They are also the proud owners of District Dance Academy, a thriving dance studio that serves as a hub for the local dance community.
In addition to their impressive accomplishments in the West Coast Swing world, Hugo and Stacy recently teamed up with April Prince to serve as co-event directors for Floorplay Swing Vacation in Orlando, further expanding their reach and impact.
Notably, Hugo and Stacy achieved 5th place in the highly competitive US Open Classic Division in 2018, a testament to their outstanding skill and dedication. They remain committed to sharing their passion for dance with students of all levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals in various dance genres.
Through their philosophy of giving more of themselves within every experience, Hugo and Stacy aim to introduce and cultivate fresh, meaningful dance routines that inspire and enrich their students lives. With their energetic routines and expert guidance, they continue to make a significant impact on the world of dance and beyond.
